About Acadia Landscape + Design, LLC

Early June on Mount Desert Island arrives all at once — the birches leaf out over the carriage roads near Eagle Lake, and every dooryard in Bar Harbor wakes up hungry for a first cut. Acadia Landscape + Design works those weeks with mower and trimmer, taking a yard from ragged to ruled in a single pass. Island turf asks for patience: spruce shade, salt in the air, ledge sitting an inch under the sod. But it repays a straight line, and there is a plain pleasure in an edge along a walk when it finally runs true. Lawn care here is small, repeated attention — week after week, until the place looks like somebody loves it.
