About S.A. Overlock & Son Enterprise

Athens is hill-farm country, where open fields let the wind lift new snow and lay it across the roads in long, sculpted drifts. S.A. Overlock & Son Enterprise plows driveways and clears snow through the heart of a Somerset County winter, when one gusty afternoon can undo a morning's work. A farm lane or a dooryard has to stay open for deliveries, school buses and the plain business of living, so the drifts get pushed back again. A good pass leaves banks shoved well aside, room for the next storm, and a drive a pickup can climb without spinning its tires. Under a pale February sky, with chimney smoke rising across the hills, that open lane is a small victory worth winning.
