Terrapin Landscapes

About Terrapin Landscapes

Six in the morning on the Arundel back roads in June: mist standing in the hayfield, a heron up off the marsh, mower gates dropping. Terrapin Landscapes runs the mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups through the green half of the year, and the plowing, shoveling and sanding through the white one. This is a town of hedgerows and stone walls, and lawn work here is largely about respecting lines somebody drew a long time ago. In winter those same walls tell you exactly where a plow can go and where it cannot. Either season, the aim is a property that reads clean from the road and stays easy underfoot.
