About M. Searles Paving and Tree Care

Arundel keeps its fields between the woods and the water — Route 1 running through the middle, the Kennebunk River curling off to the south, salt in the air whenever the wind turns onshore. M. Searles Paving and Tree Care works the yard maples and roadside white pines out along the back roads, trimming crowns clear of wires and rooflines and pruning young trees while the cuts are still small. Removals come where a pine has grown taller than its own footing, and they come down in measured pieces above a lawn nobody wants churned to mud. A nor'easter in a thaw finds every weak stem; storm damage cleanup is a truck, a chipper, and a driveway opened while the sleet is still coming sideways. The finished yard is the point — brush gone, stems stacked, everything squared away.
