About Steve Swasey Excavation

Andover sits in a bowl of mountains along the Ellis River, the same valley whose earth station listened for the Telstar satellite in 1962. Spring reaches it late and then arrives all at once, the river running high and the grass leaping up green almost overnight. Steve Swasey Excavation meets that rush with lawn care, mowing and trimming yards so they keep pace with the season instead of getting away from it. There is real pride in a lawn that lies level and even against a gravel drive, its border crisp where the forest begins. On a long June evening, with light lingering on the ridgelines, a freshly cut yard in Andover is a fine thing to come home to.
