About Gerald Taylor Company, Inc.

A January storm comes into Williamsport down the long Hagerstown Valley, wind-driven and cold, piling snow along the streets that slope toward the Potomac. Gerald Taylor Company, Inc. clears snow in this old river town, opening driveways so people can get up the hill and out onto the roads. The work has its own rhythm: blade down, push, angle, turn, until the pavement shows dark and clean from garage to street. Across the river the West Virginia hills go soft and white, and on this side the town digs out one cleared drive at a time. There is a quiet satisfaction in being the reason a snowy morning starts on schedule.
