About Delmarva Roadside Services Inc.

On the Delmarva Peninsula a winter storm is an event, and in Willards it usually shows up on the wind, a nor'easter pushing snow across open fields and stacking it against the long, low roofs of the poultry houses. Delmarva Roadside Services Inc. takes on snow removal when that happens, clearing driveways and entrances so town can get moving again. On land this flat the snow drifts in strange places, refilling a drive that looked fine an hour earlier, so the work calls for patience as much as muscle. The reward comes when gray morning light shows a clean path cut through the white, edges straight and ready for the first car out. Snow rarely lingers this far south, but while it does, an opened drive is what keeps Willards going.
