Hammond's Lawn Care

About Hammond's Lawn Care

April in Wheaton smells like cut grass again, and over at Wheaton Claridge Park the ball fields fill up on the first genuinely warm Saturday. Hammond's Lawn Care runs those same mornings through the streets nearby, taking the winter mat off a lawn with the season's early cuts and giving the turf room to wake up. The routine is mowing, edging and trimming, done in an order that leaves the sidewalk clean and the yard squared away. Spring here can swing from frost to seventy inside a week, so the schedule bends with the weather instead of the calendar. Nothing complicated about it — only the plain pride of a yard that looks looked-after from the street.
