Green Summer by Diego

About Green Summer by Diego

Where Wheaton runs down toward the Kensington line, tulip poplars stand tall over the yards and scatter their light in coins across the grass. Green Summer by Diego often works these streets in the last hours of a June day, when the heat finally lets go and a mower sounds like the neighborhood settling in. Each yard gets the same treatment: an even cut, edges brought back along sidewalk and driveway, the trimmer run around trees and lamp posts until nothing is left ragged. Grass here grows quickly in early summer and would rather be kept on schedule than rescued. Finishing a lawn at golden hour, lines still fresh, is a good way to close out a day.
