About Westminster Lawn Service Landscape Supply Yards

Before the shops open on Main Street, Westminster under fresh snow looks like an old engraving, its steeples and the hill where McDaniel College sits outlined in white against a pewter sky. In the cold months Westminster Lawn Service Landscape Supply Yards puts its plows to work in the Carroll County seat, clearing driveways, lots and walks around town. Snow here often comes on a hard north wind across the open farmland, so it can lie deep in one spot and thin a few steps away. Clearing it well means reading the property: where the drift will build back, where meltwater will refreeze, where a pile can sit until spring. By the time the coffee shops unlock their doors, the pavement is open and the town can begin its day.
