About MikesGreenGrass

Toward Sandymount and Finksburg the land tips east and the fog off Liberty Reservoir lies in the hollows on a September morning until the sun gets high enough to lift it. MikesGreenGrass covers that side of Westminster in both directions of the year — mowing, trimming and edging while the fescue is running, then plowing and shoveling once the reservoir road ices at the low spots. Summer visits keep to a rhythm so the lawn never has to be rescued, only maintained, and the fall leaf work clears the yard down to clean grass. Winter mornings mean an open driveway, a shoveled walk and salt where the shade holds a slick patch until afternoon. One truck, two seasons, the same corner of Carroll County either way.
