About Helping Hands Services LLC

Some Februarys in Westminster the wind comes straight up the hill past the college and turns a set of front steps into something genuinely treacherous. Helping Hands Services LLC works those mornings with a shovel where a shovel belongs and a plow where a plow does — drives opened, walks and steps cleared to the concrete, salt worked into the shaded corners that never see the sun. When the thaw finally takes and the ground softens, the same hands are back with mowers, cutting and trimming and edging through the whole green run of the year. Autumn brings the leaf work, bag after bag off the lawn before the wet weather sets it down for good. It's straightforward labor, and there is quiet pride in leaving a place safe to walk on and good to look at.
