Enviro-Green Lawn & Ornamental

About Enviro-Green Lawn & Ornamental

Washington Grove began as a camp meeting in the woods, and the town still feels like one: gingerbread cottages tucked under tall oaks, footpaths called avenues, cars mostly kept to the roads. Enviro-Green Lawn & Ornamental looks after the lawns of this leafy enclave, where every patch of grass has to share the light with old trees. That makes the work a bit like gardening in a cathedral, finding the dappled ground, keeping it green and evenly cut, letting the lawn frame each cottage rather than compete with it. In early morning, when mist hangs over Maple Lake and the birds have the paths to themselves, a freshly tended yard looks as if it has always belonged to the grove. It is a small town with an outsized sense of place, and its lawns carry that feeling forward.
