About Brothers Landscaping

Late in the afternoon the light goes long over the ponds in St. Charles, and every lawn on the block gives up its secrets — the thin spot, the ragged bed line, the strip by the mailbox nobody reaches. Brothers Landscaping works that hour on purpose, when the heat lets go and a mower can move without scorching what it touches. Waldorf ground runs heavy and holds water for a day after a storm, so the cut is timed to the soil rather than the calendar. Mowed, trimmed, edged and blown clear, a yard here can hold its shape straight through the muggy weeks. The route keeps to Waldorf and the roads out toward Bensville, Pomfret and Bryans Road.
