About Elsie Leigh Gardens, Flowers, & Decor

In April the old courthouse square in Upper Marlboro turns generous all at once — redbuds along the brick, daffodils leaning over the low walls, the whole village center suddenly worth walking through. Elsie Leigh Gardens, Flowers, & Decor works in that same spirit, tending lawns and yards so a property has a bit of grace to it and not just tidiness. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanups, done with an eye for how a place will look from the front walk when someone comes up it. Prince George's County soil is heavy clay that rewards patience, and patience is most of the craft. A yard should feel like an invitation, and that is what we are always arranging toward.
