Wilson Mowing (Lawn Service)

About Wilson Mowing (Lawn Service)

Trappe is a small Talbot County town set among broad, flat fields, where La Trappe Creek reaches toward the Choptank and ospreys build their nests on every likely perch. In midsummer the corn stands high on both sides of the road and the mornings come up hazy and warm. Wilson Mowing (Lawn Service) does just what its name says, lawn mowing and lawn service, laid down in long, straight passes across the wide yards this open country invites. There is a plain satisfaction in watching a shaggy lawn turn smooth and even, row by row, with the creek glinting beyond the trees. In Trappe, a freshly mowed yard is the neatest thing on the horizon.
