About Brown's Handy Services

In Rodgers Forge the lawns arrive as ribbons — narrow green runners laid between brick rowhomes, each one a neighbor's stretch of ground. Brown's Handy Services works those tight strips in late April, when the maples are still deciding about their leaves and the grass gets ahead of everybody. Mowing here is a matter of inches: one true pass down the middle, a trimmed line where turf meets brick, an edge along the walk you could lay a ruler against. The work carries out toward Anneslie and up along Loch Raven Boulevard, wherever a yard has outrun its owner. What's left behind is plain and satisfying — cut lines running straight, the sidewalk blown clean, a whole block that reads as looked-after from the corner.
