About NBH Lawn & Landscaping LLC

The Pennsylvania line runs only a couple of miles north of here, and the weather never checks for it — a February squall drops down over Harney and lays three inches on a Taneytown driveway before breakfast. NBH Lawn & Landscaping LLC meets that with plow, shovel and salt, opening drives, walks and lots so the day can start on time instead of an hour late. When the thaw finally takes hold, the work turns to raking the winter's scars out of a lawn, then mowing, edging and shaping the beds that frame a front door. There is something quietly rewarding about standing back on a May evening and watching a yard hold one straight line all the way to the road. The same hands do both jobs, and both jobs come down to making a place usable again.
