About Rhine Landscaping

Freight still comes through Sykesville on the Old Main Line, and on a February night you hear it long before you see anything — a low sound crossing the valley, snow drifting down through the lamps by the old station. Rhine Landscaping is out working while that goes past: snow removal for the drives, lots and walks that have to be usable at daybreak. Storms in this valley can start as rain and turn, which means the first inch is water and everything after it is weight. Clearing early and clearing again is the difference between a passable driveway and a rutted one. The reward is small and completely real — pavement swept bare, warm windows above it.
