About Oak Hill Wood Service Inc

An ice storm comes into these hills sideways and almost silent, and by first light the oaks along the ridge are glassed over and bowed. Oak Hill Wood Service Inc runs snow removal through Sykesville when those mornings arrive — opening drives and lots, cutting a path across the walk, giving a house its footing back. Carroll County winters rarely announce themselves; they show up between midnight and five and expect someone to be awake. Clearing is honest work done in the dark, and it is measured by one thing: whether anybody had trouble leaving. Most mornings here, the answer is no.
