Whitetail Creek Lawns

About Whitetail Creek Lawns

At first light in autumn, the deer step out of the hedgerows around Sudlersville and stand at the edges of the harvested fields, white tails flicking against the stubble. It is wide, level country, with the old railroad station still keeping watch in town and grain fields running out to the horizon. Whitetail Creek Lawns tends yards in this landscape, cutting the last strong growth of fall and clearing the leaves that blow in from the field-edge trees. The aim is a yard that holds its own against all that open land, trim and even and clean as the morning air. On a crisp October dawn, it is a sight as quiet and lovely as the deer themselves.
