About Speakman Nursery & Landscaping

Still Pond lives up to its name, a small Kent County crossroads where the loudest sound on a May morning might be the wind moving through the wheat. Still Pond Creek winds off toward the Chesapeake, and the land around the village lies open and generous, farm field after farm field under a wide Eastern Shore sky. Speakman Nursery & Landscaping brings lawn care to this unhurried place, where a lawn is often the bridge between a porch and the fields beyond. The craft is in matching that calm: grass cut low and even, edges tidy, nothing ragged to break the long view. In a village this still, a well-kept yard does its talking quietly.
