About Level Green Landscaping

An ice storm in this corner of Montgomery County leaves the woods along Spencerville Road bent and ringing, every branch sheathed in glass. Level Green Landscaping is out in the middle of it — clearing driveways, breaking loose the walkways, spreading salt on the slick runs that a plow blade alone will never fix. Out past Ashton and Burtonsville the drives are long and the shoulders go soft, so the work is as much about knowing where the edge is as about moving what fell. There is a real satisfaction in the sound of a shovel finding concrete. By the time the sun comes through and the ice starts dropping out of the trees, the path is already there waiting.
