About Lopez Landscaping & Tree Service LLC
October along Paint Branch turns the Hillandale streets the color of a struck match, and every yard underneath collects more than it can hold. Lopez Landscaping & Tree Service LLC clears it — leaves off the turf and out of the bed corners, the lawn given a last few cuts while it is still growing, edges recut so the beds hold their outline through the bare months. Silver Spring autumns are long and wet here, and leaves left flat on grass will smother it by February. Getting them gone is unglamorous work with a very visible payoff: a lawn that comes out of winter green instead of matted. Come spring the mowing picks up again, week by week, and the yard keeps its line all the way to the next leaf-fall.
