About Grayline Services LLC
At four in the morning, Forest Glen is nothing but orange streetlight and falling white, and that is the hour Grayline Services LLC goes to work. Snow comes into this part of Silver Spring sideways, funneled along the Beltway ramps and packed hard into the mouth of every driveway off Georgia Avenue. The plow takes it back one lane at a time, and the shovel finishes what the blade cannot reach: the walk to the porch, the step down to the mailbox, the strip of sidewalk that a neighbor will cross at seven. Salt goes down where the shade holds and the melt would only freeze again. By the time the first commuter backs out, the pavement is dark and dry, and the night's work is already behind them.
