Grasshopper Landscaping

About Grasshopper Landscaping

September in Silver Spring smells like cut grass and dry leaves at the same time, and the field edges out near the Sligo Creek course are still loud with grasshoppers. Grasshopper Landscaping is out in the middle of that, keeping lawns cut through the long tail of the season when everyone else has decided summer is over and the grass firmly disagrees. Edge work, trimming, an even pass across ground that has been baked, flooded and baked again since June. Late-season lawns repay attention more than at any other time of year, greening up fast the moment the nights cool off. There is a particular pleasure in a yard that looks its best in October.
