Hott's Lawn Care

About Hott's Lawn Care

Sharpsburg wakes early in June, mist still sitting in the low ground along Antietam Creek and the limestone ridges just beginning to show themselves. Hott's Lawn Care starts mowing while the dew is heavy, working the town lots off Main Street and the wide yards out where the fields take over. Mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup — the plain list, done in order, done the same way each week. Grass in this valley grows thick on sweet limestone ground, and keeping it looking intentional through a Washington County summer takes a steady hand more than anything else. By the time the heat sets in, the yards are cut and the town sits neat against all that open country.
