About Mike Houck Construction LLC

The worst of it always seems to begin around three in the morning, when the wind swings northwest and the lanes out toward Parsonsburg fill in behind you nearly as fast as you open them. Mike Houck Construction LLC runs snow work out of Salisbury — plowing lots, clearing long farm drives, putting salt where meltwater will refreeze by dawn. On ground this flat, snow drifts more than it falls, stacking against every hedgerow and building corner until it looks like the storm played favorites. The measure of a good night is simple: the sun comes up, trucks and cars move, and nobody has to think about how. That is the whole job, done quietly, hours before anyone notices.
