About Elzey Services
West of Salisbury the fields run flat toward Hebron and Mardela Springs — corn one summer, soybeans the next — and the wind crosses them with nothing at all in the way. Elzey Services cuts the lawns tucked into that country and the ones back in town both, mowing on a steady turn, working the trimmer down fence lines and post bases no deck can reach, edging the drive back to a clean margin. Grass on the Eastern Shore starts early and quits late, so a yard's whole character comes from being kept rather than rescued. Autumn brings the leaf work and the closing passes; spring opens with the mower and a wide-awake green. Simple work, repeated on time — that's the shape of it.
