About J. Calvin Wood Jr., INC.

Saint Leonard sits on a narrow spine of land with the Chesapeake on one side and the Patuxent on the other, and when a winter storm comes up the bay, it lands on both. J. Calvin Wood Jr., INC. takes on snow removal when that happens, opening driveways and lanes while the cedars along the roadside are still bowed under white. Come spring, the work changes coats: lawn care through the long, humid months when Calvert County grass hardly pauses for breath. Two trades, one town, and the same satisfaction in each, a drive scraped clear to the pavement in February and a lawn mown clean and level by June. It is the kind of attention that keeps a home on this peninsula both passable and handsome.
