About JMC Tree Service LLC

East of the city the land flattens and Philadelphia Road runs straight past Rosedale's brick and aluminum, freight cars easing along behind the treeline, Herring Run finding its way south. Winter is the working season for JMC Tree Service LLC: leafless silver maples, hard ground that takes a truck without leaving a rut, and time to prune out the broken stubs that summer leaves hid. When ice comes in off the Chesapeake and loads every branch, limbs let go over parked cars and back fences, and storm damage cleanup starts in the dark. Removals leave the same way they grew — piece by piece over a chain-link fence, nothing dropped that shouldn't be. By March the yards are open again, and the light gets all the way down to the grass.
