Mountain View Lawn Service

About Mountain View Lawn Service

Rocky Ridge sits where Frederick County's farmland runs up against the long blue wall of the Catoctins, and on clear mornings the ridge shows itself before anything else does. Mountain View Lawn Service works the yards and lanes under that skyline, mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months until a lawn holds a clean line all the way to the fencerow. Summer here comes on slow and green, with thunder building over the mountain by late afternoon and the grass drinking it in overnight. Then the year turns, and the same trucks are out plowing and shoveling driveways and walkways before the buses climb the county roads. There is a plain satisfaction in an open drive at first light, salt down, the ridge just going pink above it.
