About Facility Services Co of MD

Along the I-270 corridor north of Rockville the buildings sit far back behind wide parking fields, and on a snow morning those fields decide whether anybody gets to work. Facility Services Co of MD treats them as the first shift of the day: plow the lanes, open the entrances, clear the walkways and the marked spaces, salt the shaded strips where the melt refreezes by mid-afternoon. Maryland storms rarely arrive politely — sleet on the leading edge, heavy snow behind it, a hard glaze waiting at dawn — so the work goes in passes instead of one long push. When the doors unlock at eight and nobody downstairs has to think about the ground, the night has gone the way it should.
