Capitol Snow Management

About Capitol Snow Management

Montrose Road at nine on a January night: the lots stand empty, the light is sodium-orange, and the first flakes are just beginning to stick to the striping. That is when Capitol Snow Management starts its rounds, laying salt ahead of the storm and running the plow lanes in a fixed order so nothing gets missed at four in the morning. Commercial ground around Rockville is measured in acres of asphalt and long fire lanes, and clearing it well is nearer to logistics than to shoveling. The reward comes at daybreak — black pavement, curbs visible, an entire property behaving like an ordinary Tuesday. Somebody planned that days before the sky ever changed.
