About Hernandez Lawn Care

On this stretch of the Eastern Shore the land lies flat enough that a mown lawn reads like a clean page, and in Princess Anne the July light hangs late over the Manokin River. Hernandez Lawn Care keeps yards cut, edged and trimmed straight through the long Somerset County growing season, when heat and river humidity push the grass back up days after it went down. The work starts early, before the air thickens over the marsh and the soybean fields out toward Westover. What it comes to is plain and visible from the road: tidy lines along the brick walks in town, a neat border where lawn runs up against loblolly, a property that looks looked after. Autumn turns the job to leaves and cleanups, and the season closes with the fields going gold all around town.
