About Lily Contracting LLC

Port Deposit is one street wide, pressed between granite cliffs and the Susquehanna, and in winter the ice comes down the river in slabs you can hear from Main Street. Lily Contracting LLC works both halves of the Cecil County year — plowing and shoveling the steep drives and narrow walks when snow piles against the rock, then salting where wind off the water freezes everything twice. In the warm months it turns to mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups on terraced yards that climb the hillside in short flights. Ground like this never gives you long straight runs; it gives you angles, and getting them right is the whole job. From the top of town the river goes on doing what it has always done, and the yards below it look looked-after.
