Josef’s Contracting

About Josef’s Contracting

A nor'easter reaches Perry Hall in the small hours, and by three in the morning Route 1 is one set of tracks under the sodium lights. Josef's Contracting is out in that, blade down, working driveways and parking pads while the storm is still adding to them, because Maryland snow comes in wet and sets like mortar if it is left to sit. Walks get shoveled, steps get cleared, and salt goes down where the meltwater will run and refreeze before sunrise. By the time the block's coffee is on, the pavement is black and the day can start on time. Snow removal is the entire trade here, and winter is the only season it asks about.
