Nelson’s Landscape & Design

About Nelson’s Landscape & Design

Snow tends to start here at dusk — the streetlights come on over Cub Hill, the first flakes swing sideways past them, and the long drives up off the ridge begin to vanish. Nelson's Landscape & Design runs those properties through the night, plowing their full length, opening the turnarounds, clearing walks and steps, and salting wherever a slope would ice over by breakfast. Heavy Chesapeake snow landing on warm ground is the worst kind to move and the kind most worth doing right the first time. There is a plain pleasure in a drive that greets first light already open, banked neat on both sides, with the mailbox still upright. Full storm or passing squall, the route runs the same.
