Chaplegate Junk & Lawn

About Chaplegate Junk & Lawn

October arrives in Parkville as a slow drift of gold down the alleys behind Old Harford Road, and every fence line collects its share. Chaplegate Junk & Lawn spends that stretch on leaves — raking out the bed corners, blowing the strips between garages, and hauling the piles off so the grass underneath gets air before the first hard frost. The rest of the year runs on the steady rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging, with a spring cleanup that gets a tired yard ready to grow again. Small properties reward attention: a swept walk, a crisp seam where lawn meets concrete, nothing left waiting in the gutter. It is plain work, carried all the way through to the end of it.
