About Y&L Landscaping & Tree Service

Some Baltimore County mornings begin at four, when the plows are still working Reisterstown Road and the driveways of Owings Mills sit under three inches of quiet. That is the hour Y&L Landscaping & Tree Service is already out — plowing, shoveling walkways, spreading de-icer so a car can back out at seven without a second thought. Storms reach this stretch of the mid-Atlantic undecided, rain at the bottom of the hill and half a foot over the serpentine barrens at Soldiers Delight, which means a plan gets made overnight and remade at first light. When the thaw finally runs down the Red Run and the ground gives underfoot, the blade comes off and the mowers come out: cutting, edging, trimming, clearing the beds of everything winter left behind. It makes a year that loops, and the pride sits in two pictures — a drive opened before dawn in February, a lawn cut straight in July, same street, same neighbors.
