About On The Green, Inc.

Weather reaches Odenton from the water, and anyone who works outdoors here learns to read the western sky and the Bay's temper at the same time. On The Green, Inc. plans around both: mowing, trimming and edging through the long green stretch, fertilization, aeration and overseeding, mulch and bed upkeep, leaf removal come November — then plows, shovels and salt once the coastal plain finally goes white. February is the interesting month in Anne Arundel County, when one storm can fall as rain near the fall line and as snow four miles inland, and the night gets spent staying ahead of it. Clearing a lot before the first car turns in is its own quiet satisfaction. So is the first cut of April, when a whole yard smells green again.
