OCPLOWCO

About OCPLOWCO

January on the island is another town entirely — the crowds long gone, the wind coming hard off the Atlantic, and a nor'easter piling wet snow across empty lots and blocked-in driveways. OCPLOWCO works those storms in Ocean City, pushing lots, cutting out driveways, and clearing the walkways and entrances that ice up first when the spray freezes. Coastal snow is heavy and stubborn, and it comes sideways; it takes more passes and better timing than anything inland. There is something clean about finishing a lot at first light with the ocean roaring two blocks over and the pavement showing dark and wet. By the time the town wakes up, the way in is open.
