About Mountain Lawn LLC

South of Oakland, Backbone Mountain lifts its long forested spine to the highest ground in Maryland, and on a clear summer day it frames the town like the back of a chair. Mountain Lawn LLC keeps lawns cut and trimmed here, where high, clear air brings bright sunshine by day and nights cool enough to keep grass from scorching. Afternoon showers on the plateau come and go quickly, and the turf answers with fresh growth that frequent mowing keeps smooth and level. Trim lines run close around stone walls, garden borders and lampposts, the small details that turn a mown yard into a finished one. Looking across new-mown grass toward that blue ridgeline is a fine way to spend a summer afternoon in Garrett County.
