About Crellin Handyman Services

Snow in Oakland often begins after dark, the flakes drifting through the streetlights around the Garrett County courthouse until every street goes hushed and white. Crellin Handyman Services takes on winter's digging-out here, in one of the snowiest corners of Maryland, where storms off the mountains can bury a driveway overnight. The work is direct and hands-on: driveways opened, front steps and walks shoveled clean, the snow heaped where it won't block a car door or slide back into the path. Once the town's plows have made their rounds, a cleared walk is waiting, bare concrete framed by tidy walls of white. In a county that measures its winters in feet, that first clear path to the door counts for a great deal.
