About Earth Design Services, LLC

The soil above Great Seneca Creek runs red and heavy, and it teaches you quickly what a lawn in North Potomac needs to hold its color through August. Earth Design Services, LLC works both ends of the year here — mowing, edging and maintaining turf through the humid green months, then plowing and salting the same properties when the Mid-Atlantic finally turns. Summer mornings start early to beat the heat; winter mornings start earlier still, in the dark, with the blade down. Knowing a property in both seasons is an advantage: you already know where the drive pitches, where the water stands, where the ice will find its spot. What stays constant is the finish — level cut lines in July, bare pavement in February.
