About Martinez Landscape Services

The Anacostia runs tidal past Bladensburg, and down at the waterfront park you can watch it breathe — herons stalking the flats at low water, kayaks sliding out at high. Martinez Landscape Services keeps yards in rhythm with that river town: mowing and trimming through the long green stretch while the sycamores lean over the water, clearing leaves when they let go in November, then trading mowers for plows and shovels once ice films the flats. A lawn cut clean on a July afternoon and a driveway opened while the river still steams with cold are the same work, really — making a place ready for its day. The crews range from Bladensburg up through Edmonston and Riverdale Park and over to Hyattsville, wherever the river's neighborhoods need tending.
