About Oakridge Landscaping

Rain that falls on one side of Parr's Ridge ends up in the Monocacy; rain on the other side runs off toward the Patapsco. Oakridge Landscaping keeps lawns on both sides of that divide, which is another way of saying all around Mount Airy. In April the ground here wakes up wet and heavy, and the first cut of the year is the one that sets the tone for everything after it, so it gets mowed, trimmed and edged with an eye for the shape of the yard. Winter asks for the opposite instincts: a plow blade, a shovel, and a driveway open by the time the coffee is poured. There is plain satisfaction in both halves of that.
