Dan's Lawn & Landscaping

About Dan's Lawn & Landscaping

The old rail bed through Mount Airy is a walking trail now, and in April it greens up a week before anybody's lawn does. That is the signal Dan's Lawn & Landscaping waits on — the first cut of the year, mulch going down dark against new growth, beds edged back into crisp lines after a winter of blur. From there it is a steady weekly rhythm of mowing and trimming right through the humid middle of summer. When December arrives the work turns to plowing driveways and clearing walks so a family can get out of a hillside cul-de-sac without a running start. Both jobs come down to the same thing: showing up on the right morning and leaving the place better than you found it.
