About Outside Unlimited Landscaping

Some winters Calvert County gets one real storm, and it is the one everybody remembers. Outside Unlimited Landscaping is built for that evening — blade down on the side roads off Route 2/4, driveways opened from the street clear to the door, salt worked into the packed corners out toward St. Leonard and Port Republic. Snow that comes in off the bay carries water in it and stiffens as the temperature falls after dark, so timing counts for as much as pushing. There is something plainly good about a cleared drive glowing under a porch light while the fields on either side stay untouched. When the storm moves off, the peninsula gets its roads back.
