About JS Lawn Care Services

March on the Lusby peninsula is an argument between two seasons: ospreys back on the channel markers over Mill Creek, and still a chance of ice on the shaded curves inland. JS Lawn Care Services works both ends of it — plowing and salting when winter makes a last run at Calvert County, then rolling straight into the first mow once the ground firms up. The growing season here runs long and generous, mowing and edging and trimming from thaw to Thanksgiving, with leaf cleanups closing the book. Between the Patuxent on one hand and the Chesapeake on the other the air stays damp and the grass keeps coming. Handing back a yard trimmed to its borders on a bright spring afternoon is a good way to have spent a day.
